Big Data Workshop: Friday, October 10

On October 10, 2014, Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law and School of Informatics and Computing hosted a workshop on Big Data in cooperation with the Center for Research on Mediated Interaction (“CROMI”), Cornerstone Information Systems, and the Center for Intellectual Property Research.

This interdisciplinary workshop, titled “Big Data is Not a Monolith,” facilitated the preparation of a book manuscript that will be edited by professors Cassidy SugimotoHamid Ekbia, and Michael Mattioli, and published by The MIT Press in 2015.

The event provided an opportunity for authors to meet, share their insights, and contextualize their work within the broader themes presented. Check out the event’s website HERE for additional details.
