Darrian Campbell (’13) is an associate at the firm of Locke Lord LLP in Dallas, Texas. His practice concentrates on intellectual property litigation.
Campbell earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Baylor University and his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. During law school he was a managing editor of the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality and was a semifinalist in the FCBA National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition. In addition to being admitted to the Texas Bar, Darrian is also a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Campbell co-authored a Law360 article published on March 21, 2014 titled “Telemarketers Try Novel Approaches for TCPA Compliance.”
Darrian says of his time in law school, “I truly enjoyed the people. The variety of backgrounds of my peers was particularly fascinating to me. From musicians to engineers, social activists to aspiring politicians—people really did come from all walks of life. And I’m fortunate to have spent three years with these individuals who will surely be some of the ‘movers and shakers’ of my generation.”
