IP Colloquium: Saurabh Vishnubhakat

Saurabh Vishnubhakat will be speaking today as part of Professor Marshall Leaffer’s IP Colloquium in Room 214. His talk is titled “Patent Data Beyond the Water’s Edge.”   Two hours of Indiana CLE credit approved.

Saurabh Vishnubhakat is an associate professor at the Texas A&M University School of Law.  He is also an associate professor in the Texas A&M College of Engineering and a fellow at the Duke Law Center for Innovation Policy.  His research and teaching interests are in intellectual property law, civil procedure, and administrative law, particularly from an empirical perspective. He was previously a faculty fellow at Duke Law School, where he co-taught patent law, and began his career as a legal advisor in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he counseled the agency’s first two chief economists on IP law and policy.
