Topic: Intellectual Property: What, when, and how?

Attendees will be introduced to intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyright). Additionally, there will be a discussion about what steps should be taken to protect your business’s IP and avoid others’ IP, when to take these steps, and how to take these steps.

Parking:

The Mill is located at 642 N Madison just across the street from Upland Brewing. Vehicles may be parked at the lot at 10th and Rogers, the Morton Street garage at 220 N Morton St, or on-street on 11th or Rogers. There is bike parking on the West and South sides of the building and the #2 Bus travels along Morton street.

Please enter through the main entrance, near the Northwest corner of the building.

6:00 pm – Eat, chat and find your seat

6:10 pm​ – Welcome

6:15 pm – Executive Mentor leads discussion

7:20 pm – Create 1 goal to be completed within 2 weeks – Executive Mentors will follow up with each student

7:30 pm – Wrap up
