Leah Seigel

IP Moot Court Coach

Leah Seigel is an associate in the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where she is a member of the Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on appellate and intellectual property law. 

Before joining B&T, Leah served as law clerk to the Honorable Mark S. Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court.

Leah received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2014.  During law school, Leah served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal, co-president of the Feminist Law Forum, and vice president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. Leah also won the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition and competed in the AIPLA‚Äôs Giles Rich Moot Court Competition where her team earned regional Best Oralists.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Leah taught Kindergarten in Phoenix, Arizona through Teach For America. She earned her Masters in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from DePauw University in 2009.
