Olivia M. Fleming is an associate in the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, where she focuses her practice on trademark, copyright, trade dress, advertising and marketing, right of publicity, trade secret, and unfair competition issues. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ms. Fleming worked extensively in media and advertising. Ms. Fleming served as a law clerk for Judge Donald L. Daniel of the Tippecanoe County Circuit Court, and as an extern at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana for Magistrate (now District Court Judge) Jane Magnus-Stinson. Ms. Fleming earned a B.A. in telecommunications from Indiana University – Bloomington. She earned her J.D. cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, where she was an editorial specialist for the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review and a student member of the Indianapolis Bar Association. She served as assistant chief justice for the Moot Court Board, won the 2008 Indiana School of Law – Indianapolis Robert H. Stanton Intramural Moot Court competition, and her team won Best Oralists and placed second overall at the 2009 Saul Lefkowitz Moot competition. Ms. Fleming is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana.
