Clinical Professor of Business Law
Professor Lemper is a Clinical Professor of Business Law at the Kelley School of Business. He is an alumnus of Indiana University, where he completed the Liberal Arts & Management Program and received Bachelor degrees in English, History, and Political Science in 1995. Professor Lemper obtained a Master of Science degree in Public Administration & Public Policy from the London School of Economics in 1997, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 2001. Professor Lemper has a broad range of professional experience, including serving as a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Richard Lugar, working as a management consultant for the United States Air Force, and participating in a small family owned business before beginning his legal career. Prior to his appointment at the Kelley School, Professor Lemper provided legal counseling and representation to primarily Fortune 500® companies as a litigation associate at the law firms of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP in Washington, D.C., and Baker & Hostetler LLP in Cleveland, Ohio. Professor Lemper’s teaching and research focuses on intellectual property, First Amendment, and media law. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and golfing (including scoring a hole-in-one in the summer of 2006).
